About Kivora

Small shops deserve real numbers, not guesswork.

Most shop owners already carry their business in their head: roughly what sold, roughly what is left, roughly who still owes. Kivora exists to turn "roughly" into an exact number, without asking you to become a bookkeeper first.

What we're for

One shop. One counter. One owner who needs to know, tonight, what today actually made.

Why we built this

The software in between a notebook and an ERP didn't exist

Accounting software wants a chart of accounts. Enterprise inventory systems want a warehouse team. Neither one was built with a single shop owner in mind — someone who buys stock, sells it across the counter, sometimes on credit, and needs to know by evening whether the day was worth it.

So most shops run on a notebook, a memory, and a rough sense of how things are going. It works, mostly, until stock goes missing and nobody can say when, or a supplier calls and the real cost of last month's shipment is still a guess. Kivora is the layer that was missing: honest inventory and profit tracking, sized for one shop instead of a whole enterprise.

What we believe

Four rules we don't break

Simple over complete

We will turn down a feature that makes the product more powerful but harder to use on a busy Tuesday. Kivora is not an ERP, and we are not trying to become one.

Fast over thorough

Recording a sale has to take under ten seconds, every time, on a phone with two bars of signal. Speed at the counter matters more than a feature nobody has time to use.

Plain language, not accounting jargon

You should not need a bookkeeper to read your own dashboard. If a simpler word says the same thing, we use the simpler word.

Your numbers are never rewritten

A sale from March keeps March's cost and March's price, even after you change today's. History does not move just because the present did.

Building this for your kind of shop
